Living History Events at the National Museum of the Pacific War
May 6: Tales from the Home Front
Visit the National Museum of the Pacific War on Saturday, May 6 for a living history program titled Tales from the Home Front. This free Outpost program offers visitors a chance to learn about the lives and sacrifices of ordinary Americans who made our extraordinary battlefield successes a reality. This program offers an up-close-and-personal opportunity for you to interact with and even handle real artifacts from the Pacific War.
May 13: Hidden Stories
On Saturday, May 13, visitors to the lobby of the George H.W. Bush Gallery can hear a WWII “hidden story” about life in an internment camp. The Hidden Stories at the National Museum of the Pacific War are short presentations that provide little-known details and artifacts about the Pacific War that are not presented in the main museum galleries.
