Two Drop-off Dates: November 16 from 12-3pm; November 17 from 12-5pm

Do you have films or videotapes at your home or business? Were they filmed in Texas or made by a Texan? Have you ever thought about digitizing them?

The Texas Historical Commission and the Bosque Museum are teaming up with the Texas Archive of the Moving Image (TAMI) for the 2024 Texas Film Round-Up program, and we'll be in Clifton to help you digitize all your old home movies!

Individuals, businesses, and institutions can drop off their Texas-related films and videotapes at the Augus Theatre on Nov. 16 or 17 for FREE digitization in exchange for contributing a digital copy of their materials to TAMI. Professional archivists from TAMI will be set up in person to consult.

In addition to the in-person film collection, the ClifTex will be hosting a special Saturday afternoon screening of Starring Bosque County on November 16 at 1pm.

This event is part of the programming taking place during the run of the Smithsonian's traveling exhibit, “Crossroads: Change in Rural America,” presented in partnership with the Texas Historical Commission. The national exhibit will be on view in the Bosque Museum through December 1. Drop off your videos and stay to see the exhibit!
