Living History Days is the Whitehead Memorial Museum's annual educational event that brings history to life for area residents and visitors through hands-on learning experiences. Participants explore interactive stations featuring archaeology, Native American history, frontier life, blacksmithing, pioneer skills, military history, and other living history demonstrations presented by historians, educators, and volunteers. Living History Days provides an engaging opportunity for attendees to experience history firsthand while fostering a deeper appreciation for the rich cultural heritage of Del Rio, Val Verde County, and the Texas borderlands.
