Join the Bastrop County Museum & Visitor Center for its third annual Indigenous Peoples Day celebration honoring the Tonkawa and their important place in Bastrop County history.
On October 10 from 10 AM to 1 PM, visitors of all ages can explore Tonkawa language, traditions, and history through hands-on activities, artifacts, and demonstrations. The event coincides with the upcoming addition of a new Tonkawa exhibit to the museum’s permanent galleries.
Included with $8 museum admission. Children 12 & under, military veterans, and members are free.
