Pioneer Day will provide educational, fun, hands-on experiences and introduce all ages to the 1850s pioneer way of life in central Texas. Activities such as a new One-Room Schoolhouse, hayrides, Vintage Rummage Sale, Sweet Shop, Provisions Store, fine handmade jewelry, silent auction and hayrides, historic home tours, corn shelling and griding, butter churning, live music, quilt sale, musical instrument show and tell, candle dipping, leather stitching, corn husk dolls, children's games and crafts. Demonstrations by Native American Hoop dancer, TPWD Buffalo Soldier, soap maker, blacksmith, Dutch-oven cooks, quilter, weaver, spinner and an archeologist.
