This is a free event taking place during normal business hours and is open to all ages.
“Catherine Prose has her studio in Wichita Falls, Texas where she teaches printmaking and drawing at Midwestern State University. Maryruth Prose works in her studio in Meers, Oklahoma where she primarily works on large Rio Grande loom using hand dyed wool. Impressions of Wildflowers is a multigenerational collaboration drawing from roughly 200 of Vera Prose’s (b. 1904-1998) pressed flowers dating back at least 60 years. Through printmaking, fiber, and word, the artists use the botanical heirlooms as the unifying inspiration eliciting memories of time, place, and relationships with nature and with each other.”
