Join the Sam Rayburn House SHS and Sam Rayburn Museum staff as we provide a walking tour of Gates Hill Cemetery in Bonham, TX. Learn about this historic cemetery, founded in the mid-1800s as the main African American cemetery in Bonham, and the people interred here through select biographies of the deceased. Self-guided pamphlets will be provided. The guided walking tour begins at 10:15 a.m. The Friends of Sam Rayburn are providing refreshments. This program is free to join. In the event of bad weather, this tour will occur on November 7th.
