Join us on the shores of Toledo Bend Lake as Sabine County celebrates the Fourth of July and America's 250th year of independence.

As the gateway to Texas along the historic El Camino Real de los Tejas, Sabine County has welcomed travelers, settlers, and adventurers for generations. The route that helped shape Texas history begins here, making our community a fitting place to celebrate this milestone in our nation's story.

Spend the day enjoying live music, family-friendly activities, local food vendors, and beautiful lake views at Sabinetown Recreation Area. The celebration begins at 2:00 PM with live entertainment, kids' activities, and food vendors. From 6:00–7:00 PM, families can participate in Americana-style games and activities, followed by a patriotic program and fireworks over Toledo Bend Lake around 9:00 PM.

Featuring live performances by The SugarMoons, Luke Moody, The Roadhouse Band, and The Ethan Osborne Band.

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, family, and friends and celebrate 250 years of American independence in a county where history, heritage, and community continue to thrive.

Admission is free. No glass containers permitted. The boat ramp will close at approximately 8:00 - 10:00 PM for fireworks safety.

Celebrate America's 250th birthday where the story of Texas begins. Follow Visit Sabine County for event updates, parking information, and announcements.
