Named by early cowboys for a den of wildcats that lived under the bluff, Wildcat Bluff is the site of a branch of the historic Santa Fe Trail where wagon ruts are still visible today. Located just a few minutes from downtown Amarillo, this nature center is a place to step out of the daily routine and imagine a different time. More than 600 acres of rolling grasslands are threaded with 5.3 miles of hiking trails, giving you access to various types of natural habitats, geological and historic features.
