Opened in 1931, Seguin’s Texas Theatre is an intimate atmospheric movie palace that has entertained generations of local audiences. After the Seguin Conservation Society acquired the theater in 1996, a community-led restoration preserved its historic character while preparing the landmark for a new life as a performing arts venue. Reopened in 2011 as the Stephen & Mary Birch Texas Theatre, it continues to bring audiences together for community theater, live music, youth productions, and special events.
