For a fascinating look at life and death behind prison walls, visit the Texas Prison Museum. The museum features numerous exhibits detailing the history of the Texas prison system, both from the point of view of the inmates as well as the men and women who worked within the prison walls. The museum's most popular exhibits interpret the history of capital punishment in Texas, and feature some stunning examples of inmate art.
