Inside the north ward of the reconstructed Post Hospital, a fully furnished twelve-bed medical ward room with period equipment and medicines reflects medical care for the fort and area after the Civil War. Also, a furnished tub room and a room with "earth closets," the 1870's style of toilet before piped water, is on display.
