Olivet Baptist Church

Olivet Baptist Church was one of several notable buildings in Six Square, Austin's Black Cultural Heritage District, that were designed by John S. Chase, the first African American architect licensed in Texas. The church is typical of Chase's style with a steep, brick-clad design and an angular roof.
