Victoria was a hub for cattle production during the Chisholm Trail era, and much of its historic architecture reflects that period of wealth and prosperity. Many of its grand, restored historic homes were built by members of the O’Connor family or their employees. The city has created a driving tour that takes visitors past historic and architecturally significant homes, noteworthy plazas and monuments, public works of art, and church buildings.
