House Park Bar-B-Que has been serving Austinites since 1943 and stakes their claim as the home of Austin's oldest pit. Closed for nearly four years following a devastating fire that burned down the building in 2020, House Park Bar-B-Que reopened in 2025 with the historic pit still intact.
House Park Bar-B-Que was designated a Texas Treasure Business in 2022.
