The History Center for Aransas County

The History Center for Aransas County is a Queen Victorian historic cottage which was built in the late 1800's, outside of the home is a gazebo and gardens with native plants, a herb garden and signage. The History Center showcases and celebrates local heritage of men and women who settled this area of Texas through outdoor and indoor exhibits. The purpose of the History Center for Aransas County is to ensure that the history of Aransas County is preserved, showcased and celebrated through unique venues. The Center provides space for displays, workshops, meetings and gatherings, open celebrations for multiple exhibits each year. Bi-weekly talks related to exhibit topics, and monthly plant exchange.
