Housed in a 1939 water pumping station built by the Public Works Administration, Pampa's Freedom Museum USA features a large collection of military memorabilia, featuring displays provided by the Army, Air Force and Marines, indoors and out.

In August 1986, Pampa Army Airfield Reunion, later in conjunction with Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1657, began development of a museum to commemorate and honor the men and women who served in the United States armed forces. Opened in August 1994 and recently remodeled and enlarged to approximately 3600 square feet of exhibit space, Freedom Museum USA displays both official and private memorabilia from military and civilian sources to offer a well-rounded view of American military history from the Civil War to the present.
