The museum is dedicated to Thomas Alva Edison and his inventions and innovations. Located in the historic Travis Street Substation building, the museum's has more than 1,400 artifacts. Among these various Edison artifacts, visitors will also find items chronicling the history of electrical power in Southeast Texas and Louisiana. Photos from this period provide a glimpse into the past and offer valuable information about how the world developed.
