Opened in 1927, this community park covers 25 acres located along a former river channel or resaca. Activities include: Sam's Memorial Pool and water playground, 13 individual free picnic cabanas, a playground for children with physical challenges, walking and fitness trail, rentable large picnic pavilion & BBQ oven, Ringgold Civic Pavilion, Camille Playhouse Theater, Children's Museum, Costumes of the Americas Museum, Butterfly Garden, a physically challenged playground and open space meadow.
