Corner Drug Cafe
Although the Corner Drug Café has only been operating since 2017, the building in which the café is located has been serving Clifton, the Norwegian Capital of Texas, since the late 1800s. The site's first occupant was the Corner Pharmacy, which was likely established around 1880, after the arrival of a railway and station near Clifton. A fire on December 23, 1905, destroyed a large portion of the business district including the building that housed the Corner Pharmacy, but it was quickly rebuilt and many of this second building's historic features have been retained, including the soda fountain, Italian marble bar, bar stools and stained glass bar back.
