Since 1932, Cora’s 471 Grill, named for its owner and the FM 471 road it stands on, has served more than four generations of local Castroville residents and countless visitors around the area. With the founder Cora Burrell’s vision in mind, the establishment has continued to prepare everything from the 471 Burger, which consists of a ½ of ground chuck beef on a Texas-sized sourdough bun, to the liver and onions plates, from scratch daily. Today, Cora’s is known for its famous bean and cheese nachos and a live music venue and beer garden that hosts artists of all backgrounds and genres.
