Located on Wright Patman Lake near Texarkana, this charming, wooded park has a west-facing shoreline that allows visitors to sit in the peaceful evening and watch brilliant red and deep blue sunsets over the water. Activities include swimming in a designated sandy beach area (no lifeguard on duty), water skiing, boating (canoe rentals are available at the park), and fishing. On shore, activities include walking, nature study, hiking, camping, picnicking, birding, or jogging along roads, trails or shorelines. Bicycling is popular along the hilly park area roads.
