Atchison's Jewelry began in 1948 in a small building in Sundown by H.D. "Bo" Atchison. In 1960, he moved the jewelry store to Levelland and bought out Beach Jewelry Store. In 1962, Atchison the store from the west side of the square to its current location.
Atchison attended school in Amarillo to learn his trade, and the store is now owned and operated by the second and third generations.
