WATER RECREATION
The town of Trinity is located in the heart of the Trinity Peninsula in East Texas. It is proud to be a are a rural community and boats about being surrounded by the beautiful Trinity River. The river is a great source of family recreation, such as fishing, swimming, skiing, boating, camping and other water activities for the residents.
The town of Trinity is located at the intersection of Hwy 19 and Hwy 94 and Farm roads 230, 356, and 1617 in southwestern Trinity County. In the community there are historic sites, such as the Veteran’s Memorial Bridge which crosses the Trinity River on Highway 19, connecting the communities of Trinity and Riverside; The Parker House built about 1888 and was the home of the local merchant Isaac Newton Parker, a Confederate Civil War veteran, and his family.
