Hico

Brazos Trail Region
Website

Originally established along scenic Honey Creek, in 1880 Hico residents moved two miles to the Bosque River to be near the railroad. Today, Hico attracts visitors with its charming, Wild West-themed two-block main street. Country-western music serenades shoppers as they visit the antique and craft shops, some of which sell cowboy art. Enjoy a Dr Pepper icecream float at the "saloon" at the Billy the Kid Museum, located downtown, then tour the intriguing exhibits on Hico and The Kid's history.
