Want to tell stories of Texas history, dress up in period clothes, learn to work with heritage livestock, maintain park grounds, or help welcome new visitors? We have volunteer jobs for YOU! Join us on Saturday, August 2, from 1pm-4pm at our conference center for a Washington-on-the-Brazos Volunteer Job Fair. As site renovations are nearing completion, there has never been a better time to volunteer as we begin this new journey at Washington-on-the-Brazos. Information and volunteer job descriptions will be available for the following areas at the complex; Independence Hall/Washington Townsite, Star of the Republic Museum, Barrington Living History Farm, Fanthorp Inn, Maintenance, and Retail.
