Waylon Jennings Museum at Waymore's Liquor Store
Plains Trail Region
Waymore’s Liquor Store began as a gas station purchased in 1971 by James D. Jennings, the younger brother of Waylon Jennings, and after operating it for years as a mechanic shop he converted the building into a drive through liquor store in 2005.
Inside the store is the Waylon Jennings Museum, a small room filled with personal memorabilia such as family photos, instruments, and records that honor the life and career of his famous brother and attract fans from around the world to Jennings’ hometown.
