Some of the darkest skies in Texas can be found between the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex and Amarillo. This 700-acre facility is located at the heart of Big Ranch Country in north central Texas, and is home to telescopes, observatories and indoor and outdoor classroom space. Visitors come from across Texas, the U.S. and around the globe to enjoy programs covering topics ranging from astronomy to environmental and earth science.
