The Texas State Aquarium is the premiere aquarium showcasing the Gulf of Mexico ecosystem. Daily presentations feature dolphins, raptors, otters, stingrays, sea turtles and other aquatic life. Special encounter programs are available for children age 8 and older with reservations. Many of the Aquarium's reserach and education programs emphasize environmental conservation and wildlife rehabilitation.
