This spectacular monument is the world’s tallest statue of an Texas hero at 67 feet tall sitting on a 10 foot base. This unique piece of history may be seen at Exit 109 or 112 on I-45. The visitor center has an assortment of unique movies, brochures and exhibits about the life of Sam Houston. The gift shop has a wide array of Texas memorabilia and Sam Houston treasures.
