This mission revival-style Catholic church, featuring a unique pink façade, was constructed as a Franciscan mission in 1964. Franciscan Friars settled in Hebbronville in 1926, having fled religious persecution by the Mexican government during the Cristero Wars. Construction on the current structure began in 1956, following the Franciscans' solidification of their presence in the town through the establishment of Scotus College next door. Our Lady of Guadalupe is still an active church, now affiliated with the Diocese of Laredo. The interior features original stained-glass artwork.
