Old Hebbronville Cemetery

Tropical Trail Region
Old Cemetery Road Hebbronville, Texas 78361

Deeded in 1907, Old Hebbronville Cemetery has served the community for more than a century. The Catholic iconography and Spanish inscriptions on many of the grave markers reflect the historically Mexican American heritage of Hebbronville. The cemetery is the final resting place of many of Hebbronville's early leaders, including Ascension Martinez (d. 1928), a cofounder of El Colegio Altamirano.
