Restored in 1980, the National Theatre preserves its history dating back to 1920 as Graham’s first movie house. Despite a 1939 fire, original features remain, including a Carrera glass façade, 1930s light fixtures, terrazzo flooring, an old-fashioned cry room, and "love seats." Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it earned preservation recognition from the League of Historic American Theatres in 1992. The theatre hosted a gala screening of Oklahoma! in 1955, sponsored by AMC. Once a single-screen venue, it has expanded to three: The National, The Staircase Theatre upstairs, and The Northstar Theatre.
