The Kerrville-Llano-Fredericksburg Trail Take a picnic lunch and start early for a wonderful experience: From IH-10 outside of Kerrville, take Hwy 783 (18mi) to Harper. Continue north thru Doss until you intersect with Hwy 87 (29mi) to Llano. From Llano, travel south on Hwy 16 (39mi) to Fredericksburg and then continue south on Hwy 16 (22mi) to return to Kerrville.
