Heritage Village Museum
Forest Trail Region
Just outside Woodville is the Heritage Village Museum, which grew from a 1950s tourist attraction and now features more than 30 relocated and replicated pioneer structures. This unique collection, along with costumed interpreters, depicts life in early Tyler County. Explore a blacksmith shop and railroad depot. Visit the livery stable or any one of the community's log cabins or just stroll through the East Texas forest. See demonstrations of traditional arts from people who have either studied the art or lived it. Family-style dining.
