Fort Worth Botanic Garden
The Fort Worth Botanic Garden shares a 120-acre campus with the Botanical Research Institute of Texas in the midst of the Fort Worth Cultural District. It was established in 1934 and is the oldest major botanic garden in the state. Though well known for its rose, perennial and Japanese gardens, the Fort Worth Botanic Garden actually has 23 specialty gardens.
The Botanical Research Institute of Texas strives to share knowledge of the plant world and helping the general public understand the value of plants.
