Dedicated to the preservation and education of the rich history of the fire fighting service, fire prevention education and fire safety, the Museum is housed in a working historic 1927 Central Fire Station. The museum houses a collections of vintage fire engines, fire-fighting equipment, and memorabilia dating back to the late the mid 1800s, and provides a special activity center for children, who can dress up as a firefighter and drive a fire engine simulator!
And don't forget to take your picture in front of the original World’s Largest Fire Hydrant! It's hard to miss, but visitors can find it right outside the museum.
