Located west of Lampasas in San Saba and Lampasas Counties, the park covers the former Gorman and Lemons Ranches above Lake Buchanan, and features slow moving water through the beautiful canyon lands of the Colorado River. The park offers the outdoor enthusiast with opportunities for primitive camping, hiking, mountain biking, caving, fishing, swimming, paddling, birding and wildlife viewing, as well as guided tours to Gorman Falls and some of the park's cave systems. Primitive (backpack-in), tent (walk-in), and drive-in camping is available.
