This museum sits on the original townsite Wardville, the first County Seat of Johnson County established in 1854. Today, the a visit takes you into a representation of a pioneer town complete with sheriff's office and jail, school, saloon, gunsmith shop and blacksmith shop. The annual Pioneer Days festival brings this frontier collection to life.
