Located on the western border of Plano, Arbor Hills Nature Preserve is a 200-acre park featuring vast areas of natural beauty for walking, jogging, hiking, orienteering, and other outdoor activity. Paved and unpaved trails are available for hiking and bicycling, interpretive signage indicating specific points of interest are placed throughout the park. The preserve maintains and interprets three distinct regional ecosystems - the blackland prairie, riparian forest and upland forest.
