- Guided tour of Presidio La Bahía, where you will learn the storied history of this fort that dates to 1721 by exploring the grounds, museum, and the Chapel of Our Lady of Loreto.
- Just outside the walls of the presidio, you can visit the Fannin Memorial Monument, Angel of Goliad statue, and Zaragoza Birthplace State Historic Site.
- Guided tour of the nearby Fannin Battleground State Historic Site led by Texas Historical Commission staff. You’ll see where the fateful Battle of Coleto Creek took place, which resulted in Col. James Fannin’s surrender—one week later, he, his men, and many others who had been captured were executed at Presidio La Bahía.
- Guided tour of the 1894 Goliad County Courthouse, a grand Second Empire-style building that was restored as part of the Texas Historical Commission’s Texas Historic Courthouse Preservation Program.
