Stubb's Bar-B-Q
Christopher B. “Stubb” Stubblefield was a Texas barbecue pioneer and music champion. In 1968, he opened his first restaurant, Stubb's Bar-B-Q, at 108 East Broadway. The iconic Lubbock restaurant became a gathering place for artists and audiences alike until it closed in 1985.
Through food, music, and a spirit of generosity, Stubblefield helped shape the cultural and musical identity of West Texas.
