Tri-County of Central Texas Historical Railroad Symposium

The three county historical commissions of Freestone, Limestone, and Navarro, present collaboratively a symposium to take place at the Teague Hotel adjacent to the B-RI Railroad Museum. The event will honor the influence of both the Trinity & Brazos Valley and Houston & Texas Central Railroad lines the growth and decline of cities and towns in the three counties. Five speakers will focus on the freight, passenger trains, labor, and abandoned lines and depots. Children’s activities and museum tours will include storytelling, hands on projects, and book dedication and signing. Friday evening reception for commission members and special guests.
