Taste of Harlingen is the annual fundraiser hosted by the RGV Museum Association. Proceeds from sponsors, silent auction items and ticket sales benefit the Harlingen Arts and Heritage Museum. Theme this year is Oktoberfest. Held on Thursday, October 17, 2024, 6 - 9 pm. Outside in our courtyard participating restaurants serve samplings of their cuisine to patrons while listening to live music by Brett Marshall and the Disclaimers. We also have a Silent Auction. Fun party atmosphere being surrounded by historic buildings: Harlingen founder Lon C Hill's home, Harlingen's first hospital, Paso Real Stagecoach Inn and HEB historical building (formerly part of the Harlingen Army Airfield).
