The Texas Maritime Museum is thrilled to announce a special book signing event featuring Rockport author Jason Bradshaw on September 14, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. This event celebrates the launch of his latest work, Palm Island.

Palm Island, an action-adventure novel, is set against the backdrop of a present-day small chain of islands in southern Mexico. There, Daxton Shaw, a washed-up pilot and boat captain has fallen into a dark place in his life after a tragic flight accident years earlier. When a submarine goes missing near an uninhabited island his assistance in its retrieval is requested from an unexpected source. His skill and expertise in the air and on the water may lead him to locate and retrieve the missing submarine, but the contents of the vessel will change his family’s lives forever.

Author, Jason Bradshaw, has had a passion for adventure, history, and writing for almost all of his life. His earlier novels including Beneath Creek Waters, published in 2014, and Beneath Gulf Waters in 2021, have been praised for their engaging characters, action, and suspense. Jason currently resides on the South Texas coastal bend with his wife April and their children. He continues to write and explore the world with his wife.

Copies of Palm Island, and Jason Bradshaw’s earlier works, will be available for purchase at the event, and Bradshaw will be signing books and greeting guests throughout the afternoon. Admission to the event is free.
