Come visit the former rural school ~ the special activity theme is "Hands-on flower pressing and Texas Wildflower Identification." You may bring your own flower for the press, and a limited number of flowers will be available if you do not have one. Library books and native plant posters will be on display and usable for flower/pant identification. Early country school science class studies included flowers and plants and students made a flower album or herbarium using pressed flowers.
