Grand Opening Round Rock Stagecoach Inn includes a program, ribbon cutting, and "come and go" open house to view the interior of the recently restored stagecoach stop. The 1848 history structure was relocated in 2018 to prevent demolition due to a Road Safety Project. Restoration of the inn began in 2023/completed in 2024. Inn has been fully restored following preservation standards. The inn, built by JJ Harris, was initially used as a stagecoach stop and change station for horses. The Inn was included on two or more stagecoach routes. The interior of the inn is stunning with its wood ceiling, floors, doors and windows. The open house will provide visitors a chance to visit and experience possibly the best-preserved stagecoach stop in Texas.
