Built in1878, and located just a stone's throw from downtown Palestine TX, lies one of the city's most historic and infamous mansions. This Victorian home and National Texas Historic Landmark has a deep history, with stories of death, murder, and suicide. In addition to the 140+ year old home itself, there are several other buildings on the grounds, some of which are accessible. The slave quarters is the only building that cannot be accessed. This is an incredible building with so much history, and you will be one of the first people to investigate it!
