The Western Heritage Classic is a working cowboy competition featuring ten of Texas’ largest ranches competing in true ranch events, including bronc riding, wild cow milking, team penning, team roping and calf branding. Held on the grounds of the Taylor County Expo Center annually the second weekend in May, the main events are paired with an art show, downtown parade, the world’s largest bit and spur show, matched horse races and more to create a true western heritage experience.
