Brazos Trail Region
The museum consists of three floors of exhibits. The exhibits trace the beginnings of Freemasonry in Europe, its migration to North America and its entry into Texas. Also highlighted are many aspects of American, Texas and local history. The magnificent building was erected in 1967 by the Scottish Rite Foundation of Texas in commemoration of the Centennial Year of Scottish Rite Masonry in Texas.
